Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. of Ashland, the City of Oxford, and the Calhoun County Economic Development Council held a groundbreaking on Friday, June 16, 2023, for Wellborn’s new manufacturing facility which will be located in the Oxford West Industrial Park near Eastaboga.
The $17 million, 250,000 square feet plant is expected to be completed in January 2025 and create more than 400 jobs. The new location will produce the company’s First Haven brand of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.
