The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama is reminding students and parents that the Arthur F. Toole, III & Judy D. Toole Scholarship Fund is available to individuals with a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) living within the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama service region (currently Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, DeKalb, Etowah, St. Clair, Randolph, and Talladega counties). Students are eligible to apply for the scholarship without regard to race, religion, gender, national origin or disability. The following priorities will be given to applicants: 1) Non-traditional students; 2) students seeking a degree or certificate in the fields listed by the State of Alabama Department of Labor as “high demand” occupations; 3) documented financial need.
Though the scholarship is listed as a one-time award, the Arthur F. Toole, III and Judy D. Toole Scholarship recipients may re-apply for the scholarship each year.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 1, 2021!
