Organizers of the AlabamaWorks! Conference today announced three keynote speakers for the April event – Dr. Kevin Elko, Joseph Seymour and Governor Kay Ivey.

Dr. Kevin Elko will be the keynote speaker on Tuesday, April 21. Dr. Elko is an author, speaker and leadership trainer who is renown for creating leadership programs for worldwide brands. He has worked with seven BCS National Championship Football Teams including The University of Miami, LSU, The University of Alabama and Florida State University.

Joseph Seymour is set to speak on Wednesday, April 22. Seymour is a graduate of Disney’s world-renowned Institute of Quality Service. His recent work as a trainer, speaker, consultant and coach has centered on customer service, leadership and organizational development both in and out of the workforce development industry.

Governor Kay Ivey will wrap up the conference on Thursday, April 23.  Governor Ivey will discuss the current state of the workforce in Alabama and her Success Plus initiative to add 500,000 newly credentialed workers in order to position the state for future growth. The Governor will also be presenting the inaugural Workforce Innovator Awards.

The AlabamaWorks! Conference is set for April 21-23 at the Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel.
