July 28, 2022 – Gadsden State Community College held a special event on Thursday, July 28, 2022 to announce the construction of a new Advanced Manufacturing Center. The 50,000 square feet facility will be located on the school’s East Broad Campus. The AMC will include high-tech training spaces for programs, such as Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Precision Machining, Mechanical Design Technology, Additive Manufacturing, and Electronics Engineering as well as an expansion of the college’s FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education) program.
