Workforce Region 2’s first Quarterly Workforce Meeting of 2020 has been set for Tuesday, January 21 at Gadsden City High School in Gadsden, Alabama.
Hosted by East AlabamaWorks, the Quarterly Workforce Meetings bring together a variety of community stakeholders to discuss the state of the regional workforce, workforce education and training opportunities, and a variety of workforce-related topics.
Featured speakers for the January 21 meeting will be Dr. Eric Mackey, State Superintendent of Education, Alabama State Department of Education, and Joylee Cain and Deborah Owens of WeeCats Industries in the Enterprise City School system.
The East AlabamaWorks Quarterly Workforce Meetings are open for anyone who is interested in workforce development in Alabama.
The January 21 meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Gadsden City High School, 1917 Black Creek Parkway, Gadsden, AL 35904.
