Event Attendance is by Invitation Only

Goal:

Present a variety of career opportunities via hands on, interactive activities across ten career worlds to students to help them make smart choices for their future and encourage them to stay in school.  The desired outcome is to improve high school graduation rates in the schools within the counties covered by the workforce region of Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah,  Randolph  and Talladega Counties and develop career interests among students to move their communities forward with workforce ready graduates.

Audience:

All 8th grade students within Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Randolph, and Talladega Counties.  Schools invited to attend include all public, private, and home school,  Total number of students attending is approximately 6,000. High School Juniors are able to attend during the day with their school.
