December 2020 – Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the East Alabama BEST Robotics hub was still able to conduct its annual robotics competition for schools throughout the region. Many hubs chose not have a competition this year, but the East Alabama hub was able to make its competition a virtual competition. Participating schools all received their BEST kits like usual, built their own game course and robots, completed all of their accompanying marketing and engineering materials, and participated in the live competition via webcam!
