If your company wants to file a bulk claim on behalf of your employees – Click Here.  All charges will be waived against those employers who file partial unemployment compensation claims on behalf of their employees. Alabama Career Centers

All of Alabama’s 51 Career Centers are closed to the public in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Alabamians in need of Career Center services will still be able to receive them via telephone calls with their local staff, or through email correspondence. You can also continue to access online resources through the Alabama Career Centers’ new website AlabamaWorks.Alabama.Gov. You will find all of the old features of the Joblink website, plus more on the new website. We encourage you to visit soon as many Alabama companies are still hiring, and announcing new hiring, even in the midst of the current crisis.

Education

At this time, all Alabama schools are CLOSED until the end of the school year. Physical buildings are closed, but eLearning will continue for students at home.

Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) has activated a statewide hotline and dedicated email address for information concerning COVID-19. The hotline/email gives the public the ability to speak with someone who can direct them to information that will  lead to better informed decisions to protect their health. The hotline number is 800.270.7268 and will be answered from 7am until 9pm daily. The email address is covid19info@adph.state.al.us.
