2019’s Worlds of Work Expo is expanding to three days and has been set for March 12, 13 and 14! Last year’s event saw nearly 8,000 eighth graders and eleventh graders from every school system in the seven county East AlabamaWorks region. More than 100 different careers will be represented in 10 different “worlds” of work.

Eighth graders will attend on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13 while eleventh graders will attend on Thursday, March 14. The entire event will, once again, be held at the Oxford Civic Center in Oxford.
A new feature of the event for 2019 is the addition of a special parents and teachers program. In the past, WOW has only been open to students and the teachers who bring them, in 2019 any teachers and all parents are invited to visit WOW from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13!
